A Sick and Suffering Society

Virtually everyone who lives in contemporary society either currently suffers from serious health problems or statistically can expect to do so in the future. Cancer, heart attacks, diabetes, obesity, and numerous other diseases kill millions of people each year (our family members, friends, and neighbors) despite hundreds of billions of dollars spent on drugs, surgical procedures, medical research, and the latest technology. Many suffer daily from an almost infinite variety of symptoms, ranging from irritations such as colds and allergies to major debilitating health problems that impose burdens of painful despair and financial worries.

Why Is This Happening?

This situation has come about because we have traveled the wrong road. This road does not promote health, nutrition, and the proper care of the body. We have been led to believe that the way to health is more about doctors and medical technology than it is about individual responsibility and personal discipline. But it is not necessary to continue down the path that leads to sickness, disease, and an early grave.

Is There an Alternative?

At Healthy Christian Living we know from firsthand experience that, by following a diet and lifestyle outlined by God for humanity at the time of creation, people can preserve or regain astounding health. Instead of being sidelined by medical problems, people can learn to take advantage of the magnificent self-healing properties of the body in order to live a happy, energetic, and productive life. This ordained lifestyle, in conjunction with a healthy relationship with God will produce wholeness in every area of your life. Be blessed as you venture forward!

Recently we have received a letter from a visitor who inquired as to "who" we are and why we are on the web. with his permission, the following is the reply sent:

Greetings and thank you for taking the time to write us. While I have never received a question as yours, I will provide the information requested as best and as straightforward as possible for you.

You wrote HCL:

"I found your website while looking for Christian based fitness information.  While your website seems to offer this, I am still curious about who ""you"" are.  I like to check my sources of information to validate the information that I am being given and your ""About Us"" page tells me nothing.  Are you endorsed by anyone?  I want to know who you are and why I should trust the information on this site before I will come here regularly."

In response:

My name is Anthony Reinglas; I am a licensed minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, a family person and a Naturopathic and alternative medicine practitioner for over 15 years. I am not directly affiliated with any other sites, nor do I wish to be; I take delight in being as unique as we are. Given my passion for the Word of God, a constant quest for integrity & truth, and the need in the world for a site as this, I decided to devote my time into providing information to the public that I deem most important in life. I am not paid to provide this information, nor do I solicit advertisements for money (the few you see are a free service to some sites I believe in.) with exception to some of my own product. I have done and continue to research most every area of human health and I endeavor to provide only the best of the best information and product referrals on my site; so when an area is currently blank, it is because it is still in a research and gathering stage, and when it is there, you can be sure I researched, did my homework and lived anything you read. For me, this is a ministry, not a job or a hobby.

 So Joe, in response to your saying “I want to know who you are and why I should trust the information on this site before I will come here regularly” I will answer in one profound statement (Which I think was originated by Thomas Jefferson) “One person with a passion is greater than ninety-nine with only an interest.”
