Detox Foot Bath is an all natural
way to detox the inside of your body through your feett in a relaxing bath.
Detoxification begins the moment you place your foot into the foot bath.
Detoxification benefits your health and can help the aging process.
As believed in Reflexology, each
foot is actually a channel, a conduit, through which your body attempts to
cleanse itself of toxic wastes and heavy metals that are building up in many
parts of your body. During the foot bath, you will actually see the cleansing
process take place as the water interacts with a compound electric current and
magnetic field structure. This body cleansing process results in the correct
frequency required for cells to return to a healthy state, and to release waste
that has been bonded to them over the years. This detoxification therapeutic
procedure also enhances the effects of other therapies. Our unit is among the
best foot bath detox products available.
We live in a society fraught with
pollutants and heavy metal toxins natural and synthetic. They exist in our air,
water, food, clothing and the environments in which we live, work, play and
sleep. As a result, our bodies are depleted of crucial lifegiving elements,
leaving us to feel drained of energy or unable to heal naturally from illness,
injury or medical procedures.
Water is a critical resource. It
covers two thirds of the earth's surface and 80 percent of the human body is
comprised of water. It's in the fluids we drink, the air we breathe, the foods
we consume and it is the medium by which we cleanse ourselves.
Since ancient times people have
bathed in natural springs and reported experiencing healing benefit for many
ailments. Resorts and health spas around the world maintain their popularity
because bathing in springs hot, cold or mineral has undisputed therapeutic
effects, including: improved circulation, increased relaxation and, as a result,
relief from symptomatic or chronic pain.
The Detox Foot Bath helps
water to detoxify the body and recreate the therapeutic experience found
naturally in the world's most reputed spas
The Foot Bath Detox also
reduces acidosis throughout the body allowing it to regain a natural balance.
Everyone can benefit from this
powerful detox. People with sleeping problems have reported having restful
nights. Those with pain get relief and increased energy. Many dentists have
directed their patients to use the Detox because of its ability to draw mercury
from the body.

There are three ways
toxins leave the human body:
-
Excreted wastes in the urine and
the bowels
-
Vomiting
-
The pores
-
These are the three main outlets
for stored body toxins to exit your body. It is unusual to vomit during a
detox program unless the toxins are within the stomach, but I'm sure you can
recall eating something rancid and immediately throwing it up and out of the
system. Normally, toxins are removed through the urinary and intestinal
tracks, and the toxins that are stored within the bloodstream and the fat
stores within the body are commonly released through the skin.

For years I have discussed my
patient's desire to cleanse toxins out of their systems.
Several approaches have been
developed to facilitate the cleansing process; everything from diets, enemas,
saunas, fasts, to homeopathy, water therapy, etc. One particular internal
cleanse is very effective, yet very difficult to get patients to do. Eating
nothing but vegetables for four weeks while taking herbs or shakes every hour
and a half is not the easiest program to get patient compliance on. Another
procedure, the use of Oxymega, an oxygen colon cleanser, is able to pull out
some toxins from the lining of the intestines, yet stops short of doing a
complete detox for the system. Until now a number of procedures had to be done
to accomplish a full body detoxification. This series of procedures took time
and diligence to accomplish.
In 2005 I heard of a new approach
using ionized salt water in a footbath to pull toxins, contaminants, heavy
metals, and debris out of the body through the skin. Being skeptical I went
online and read as much as I could about the procedure. The more I read the less
skeptical I became. It works by basic polar attraction. Positive ions attract
negative ions like a magnet. The body begins a flushing of the ions from the
system that match up with their opposites in the ionized bath. This flushing
releases wastes through the skin painlessly. Many feel a sense of relaxation
when the procedure is done and get the thorough night's rest they have not
experienced in some time. For some, they receive a boost of energy as well.
As a few patients, friends, and
family extolled the benefits they received from the use of this technology
elsewhere, I began to see the benefits they discussed and witnessed in their own
health. I purchased a machine for our office. As usual, my most sensitive
patients offered the best test of its effectiveness. Neither they nor I were
disappointed.
We have seen in the last month a
number of patient improvements including help for chronic pain, energy flow,
migraines lessened, and a greater sense of well being. Several studies that I
found also support the improvements we observed. One study showed an increase of
muscle strength while another measured the amount of heavy metals in the
residual water after the ionic footbath was completed.
Use only water in your bath.
Do not use any additives such as soaps, detergents, oils, etc.
Do not have more than one
person in the bath at any one time.
Do not drink dirty bath water
however; give it to your plants or bio-charge water separately for drinking.
The unit must not be used by
people who have Pacemakers, anyone who has received an organ transplant or by
pregnant women and people who use prescription drugs.
Do not wear a watch, talk on
a cell phone or use a computer while doing a footbath.

Detox is the latest buzzword in the
global alternative health community, and it is fast becoming mainstream. A
majority of health-conscious individuals, aware of the amount of toxins the
human body is now subjected to on a daily basis, are seeking means to
effectively support the body's elimination process.
It's an undeniable fact that the hype
and confusion surrounding the why and the how of detox are tremendous.
Capitalising on our fear and bewilderment in the face of the countless
toxin-related health scares, promoted by the media on a daily basis, a brand new
industry is thriving. It touts detox aids in the form of herbal supplements,
colon-cleansing aids, foot patches and detox diets, to mention but a few.
While some of these might be
genuinely effective, they are unfortunately lost amongst the multitude of
generally useless, so-called detox aids.
Louis Kuhne, a naturopath from
Leipzig, Germany -hailed by his contemporaries as "a genius in the Art of
Healing"- was a pioneer of the detox concept back in 1883. His doctrine of the
Unity of Diseases stipulates that all diseases are caused by an accumulation of
toxins in the body. He devised an ingeniously simple healing panacea based on
hydrotherapy -specially featuring his famous friction sitz bath- accompanied by
a wholesome, strictly vegetarian diet. Using these simple methods, Kuhne
achieved phenomenal success in healing a wide spectrum of previously incurable
diseases, and helping his patients recover and maintain good health.
M.K Gandhi (the Mahatma) praised
Kuhne's baths in a correspondence to Nehru on January 17th, 1929 saying: "I
utterly distrust doctors' reports, I strongly recommend Kuhne's bath and sun
baths."
The Detox Bath is based on Louis
Kuhne's friction sitz bath. It is a tool that nature generously provides us
with, to help us maintain our health and body in optimal condition.
According to Kuhne, internal body
heat, - generated by movement, digestion, stress or shock - pushes excess fat
and toxins out to the body's periphery where they deposit and can no longer be
eliminated. The Detox Bath working principle is to cool down the core area of
the body, i.e. the groin and genitals by applying cold water for ten to twenty
minutes daily, or at least 4 times a week (depending on your initial condition
and the results you seek to achieve). This action provokes a vibration in the
fascia, (interconnecting tissue covering all internal organs) which produces a
roll- back effect driving excess fat and toxins back into the intestines, where
they can be eliminated.
The Detox Bath is a simple, free home
hydrotherapy technique that offers a natural alternative for maintaining disease
at bay by strengthening the body's inherent ability to flush out waste deposits.
It uses nothing but water to help eliminate fat and toxins and maintain a
healthy, fit and toned body.

Over a lifetime (or in the case of an
ecological disaster, an alarmingly short time), the human body assimilates a
number of toxins. Some of these are in such trace amounts that we really needn't
worry about them, but it is still wise to avoid as many toxins in the diet and
the environment as possible. Here are ten of the most common toxins found in
human blood and cells:
Free Radicals
These are the toxic waste products of
the process of oxidation within our bodies. Oxidation (like rust on iron) is
what causes the deterioration of cells, like a bruised apple when it goes brown
and mushy. This goes on at a cellular level within the human body and
accelerates the aging process.
The effects of free radicals can be
reduced by the consumption of anti-oxidant-rich red, orange and yellow fruits
and vegetables, along with increasing our exercise and eating less.
Mercury
The commonest sources of Mercury are
amalgam fillings and the eating of large marine fish such as tuna. Mercury is
implicated in Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's, heart failure, irregular
heartbeat and even some cancers. There is debate as to whether it is worthwhile
to have amalgam fillings removed and replaced. Similarly, the health benefits of
eating oily marine fish should be weighed carefully against the risks of mercury
consumption.
Sugar
Refined sugar is known as "the white
death". We all know it's bad for us, that it contains calories without
nutrients. Too much of it can cause insulin resistance, diabetes. The answer is
simple; eat less white sugar.
Caffeine
Many people enjoy caffeinated drinks
and find that they give them a much-needed "high" in times of fatigue. Don't
forget that caffeine is quite a powerful drug and taking yourself off it can
cause quite severe withdrawal symptoms. Some people are "allergic" to caffeine
and it can cause irrational mood swings and exacerbation of PMS, even heartbeat
irregularities. Best to wean yourself off it.
C-Reactive Protein
Perhaps it is wrong to consider this
a toxin in itself, but its presence in the blood is an indicator of inflammation
in the body. A high reading of C-Reactive Protein in the blood can indicate a
propensity to heart attack. It is elevated by infections, inflammatory
conditions, insulin resistance, and certain hormones such as those in the
contraceptive pill or HRT. It is thought that a preventative dose of aspirin may
be effective in reducing the level of C-Reactive Protein.
Cholesterol
A buildup of LDL (low-density
lipoprotein) or "bad" cholesterol in the blood is implicated in heart disease
via hardening of the arteries. Avoid high cholesterol by eating less saturated
fats, exercising regularly, eating supplements rich in plant sterols or (as a
last resort) Statins (prescribed cholesterol-lowering drugs).
Cortisol
This is produced by the body at times
of worry and stress, therefore it is commonly called the stress hormone.
Eliminate cortisol by exercising, laughing, relaxing, enjoying a hobby and not
allowing your own personal stresses to fester and thrive within you!
Pesticides
We encounter these in our own gardens
(unless we garden totally organically) and on most bought fruits and vegetables.
At least trace amounts are probably found in most people's bodies. Either buy
organic or make sure you thoroughly wash any fruit and veg you buy.
Dioxins
These are unwanted byproducts of
heating processes and can increase cancer risks. They are suspected as
contributory factors in diabetes, low sperm counts and behavioral problems. They
are everywhere so it is hard to avoid them on an individual level. Buying
organic produce and avoiding saturated animal fats (which tend to harbor
dioxins) may help.
Homocysteine
Homocysteine is an amino acid. It can
contribute to the risks of heart disease, Alzheimer's, furring of the arteries,
toxicity in pregnancy, or even birth defects.
Its build-up can be caused by kidney
disease, genetics or vitamin deficiencies. Supplementation of Vitamins B12, B6
and Folic Acid may be wise. These vitamins enable the conversion of homocysteine
into less dangerous amino-acids in the body.
We are all exposed to toxins in the
environment and our food over our lifetimes. Some are easy to avoid, others less
so. Clean living and regular detox programs are probably the best we can do to
avoid overexposure to toxins.

As 2007 swings into gear, there's no better time to give your body a healthy,
fresh start than now! Plus if you're thinking about lowering your weight - and
your RealAge "eating clean" is a great first step. Add these 10 foods to your
grocery cart and you'll get three terrific benefits:
- Lots of super-healthy liquids to flush out the body while pouring in
nutrients.
- Fiber to keep your GI tract fit.
- Foods that energize cleansing enzymes in the liver, your body's built-in
detox center.
The Top 10:
- Green leafy vegetables. Eat them raw, throw them into a broth, add them to
juices. Their chlorophyll helps swab out environmental toxins (heavy metals,
pesticides) and is an all-round liver protector.
- Lemons. You need to keep the fluids flowing to wash out the body and fresh
lemonade is ideal. Its vitamin C - considered the detox vitamin - helps
convert toxins into a water - soluble form that?s easily flushed away.
- Watercress. Put a handful into salads, soups, and sandwiches. The peppery
little green leaves have a diuretic effect that helps move things through your
system. And cress is rich in minerals too.
- Garlic. Add it to everything - salads, sauces, spreads. In addition to the
bulb's cardio benefits, it activates liver enzymes that help filter out junk.
- Green tea. This antioxidant-rich brew is one of the healthiest ways to get
more fluids into your system. Bonus: It contains catechins, which speed up
liver activity.
- Broccoli sprouts. Get 'em at your health-food store. They pack 20 to 50
times more cancer-fighting, enzyme-stimulating activity into each bite than
the grown-up vegetable.
- Sesame seeds. They're credited with protecting liver cells from the
damaging effects of alcohol and other chemicals. For a concentrated form, try
tahini, the yummy sesame seed paste that?s a staple of Asian cooking.
- Cabbage. There are two main types of detoxifying enzymes in the liver;
this potent veggie helps activate both of them. Coleslaw, anyone?
- Psyllium. A plant that?s rich in soluble fiber, like oat bran, but more
versatile. It mops up toxins (cholesterol too) and helps clear them out. Stir
powdered psyllium into juice to help cleanse your colon, or have psyllium-fortified
Bran Buds for breakfast.
- Fruits, fruits, fruits. They're full of almost all the good things above -
vitamin C, fiber, nutritious fluids, and all kinds of antioxidants. Besides,
nothing tastes better than a ripe mango, fresh berries, or a perfect pear.

Water, The Ultimate Detox Tool -
Discover 3 Powerful Water Detox Methods
It constitutes an intrinsic part of
our daily life and we couldn't survive without it. Amongst its countless
benefits to our health and our planet, WATER is the ultimate natural detox tool.
The recent Detox Craze has reached
phenomenal proportions, with manufacturers frantically marketing products that
promise instant cleansing and purification, in an attempt to fulfill - and
obviously profit from - such an overwhelming market demand.
By highly publicizing their
successful detox experiences, stars like Beyonce - amongst others - have
contributed in making detox hip and trendy. This and other factors have made
detox the health buzzword of the 21st century. It is now considered a necessary
factor in the quest for optimal health, weight loss and well being.
Unfortunately, such proliferation,
variety and availability of detox aids makes identifying the ideal personal
detox program a daunting task. Many cases and articles of detox gone wrong are
published on the web, reminding the gullible and the unseasoned of the dangers
of extreme detox, which clearly could be health-hazardous.
The quest for the ideal detox tool or
program is on, with a mind-boggling array of products to choose from: Detox
supplements, colon cleansing aids, detox foot baths and detox patches. The list
is endless!
In our frantic search for the
ultimate detox, we've overlooked the ideal and most obvious detox aid. A free,
natural resource we're in physical contact with every single day of our life:
Water.
NOTHING supports the body's cleansing
and elimination capacity like Water; the most ancient and potent natural detox
aid ever known to mankind. Whether by drinking it, sweating or bathing in it,
water has been used to expel toxins, and restore health since the dawn of
humanity.
Drink Plenty of Water
We're all familiar with the dangers
of even minor- dehydration by now.
If the body is not sufficiently
hydrated, the cells will draw water from the bloodstream, thus pressurizing and
burdening the heart. Even mild dehydration prevents the kidneys from effectively
purifying the blood.
When this happens, some of the
kidney's workload is passed on to the liver and other organs, and may cause them
to be severely stressed. Minor health conditions such as constipation, dry and
itchy skin, acne, nosebleeds, urinary tract infections, coughs, sneezing, sinus
problems and headache may develop as a consequence.
It is no secret that drinking 2
liters of water a day can dramatically improve your health, and the signs will
be obvious: Glowing complexion and clear skin, better immunity, better
digestion, less aches and pains, weight loss, less cellulite, better
concentration and renewed vitality and energy. Most detox regimes recommend
flooding the body with purified or filtered water, rather than the bottled kind.
Infusing the body with water will immediately stimulate your kidneys, liver and
digestive system's (primary detox organs) functions. It will boost your
metabolism, which in turn accelerates toxin and fat elimination.
Water fasts are highly praised for
cleansing, and are regularly practiced by keen detox advocates. However, fasting
is not to be taken lightly, and any fast longer than 48 hours should be
medically supervised.
Steam and Sweat Baths
There is a valid reason why humans
have used sweat baths for hygienic and health purposes since the Stone Age. It's
because sweating has proven its effectiveness in flushing out toxins and
disease, and maintaining optimal health.
The skin is the largest organ in the
body and, through the pores, it plays a major role in the detoxifying process
alongside the lungs, kidneys, bowels, liver, and the lymphatic and immune
systems. The skin produces cool sweat to regulate the body's elevated
temperature. It also has the ability to transform toxins from lipid-soluble or
oil-based, into easier to eliminate, water-soluble form. Sweat carries toxins
out of the body and flushes them through the pores.
Most cultures around the world have
their own versions of the sweat bath, whether it's the ancient Romans and their
"Thermae" or the traditional Japanese "Onsen". The Russian "Banya", or the
native American Indians "Inipi", without omitting the notorious Turkish bath or
"Hamam". However, the Finnish Sauna, remains the most prominent and popular one
of all.
Regardless of what it's called, the
sweat bath's health benefits are infinite, with the primary one being its waste
and toxins elimination action through the pores. Other sweat baths benefits
include improved circulation, weight and fat loss, skin cleansing and body and
mind relaxation.
Detox Bath
An equally powerful water detox
method is the Detox Bath.
Based on an ancestral detox technique
created by Louis Kuhne of Leipzig in 1883, (who used it to treat his own cancer
and heal thousands of often-serious diseases), the Detox Bath uses ONLY water
and can take as little as 10 minutes a day.
The Detox Bath's working principle is
to refresh the core area of the body (around the groin and genitals) during 10
minutes daily or longer, depending on your initial condition, and the results
you seek to achieve. This process creates a vibration in the fascia
(Interconnecting tissue covering all internal organs), which sets in motion a
roll-back effect that transports digestion's leftover fats and deposited toxins
back to the intestines, where they are later eliminated.
Why Is The Detox Bath So
Powerful?
Besides its toxin and fat elimination
action, the Detox Bath's potency resides in the fact that:
-
It works on the groin area, one of
the highest nerve-concentration areas in the body, hence its positive effect
on mood, sleep and energy.
-
The groin houses main arteries, so
the bath greatly improves blood circulation and digestion.
-
It stimulates the root chakra,
which governs sexual energy and reproductive organs. It helps regulate the
menstrual cycle, and has been used by Louis Kuhne to treat impotence. It is
also beneficial for low libido and menopausal symptoms.
Practiced regularly, the Detox Bath,
(based on Louis Kuhne's friction sitz bath) supports the body's elimination
capacity, effectively ridding it of toxins and fat. It boosts metabolism and
digestion; improves sleep, energy and mood, and promotes clear skin and radiant
complexion.
Conclusion
Detox is not - and never will be - an
instant, magical fix. Detox is an ongoing process, which provides tremendous
health benefits, that you can enjoy starting today, by simply using water.
A regular practice of a combination
of the 3 - almost free - and completely safe water detox methods above is the
only detox regime you'll ever need to effectively eliminate toxins and fat, and
enjoy a lifetime of radiant health.

We faithfully change the oil in our
cars and the filters in our heaters to eliminate the impurities that build up
over time which could hinder the performance of these mechanical devices. So why
is it that we do not we apply the same logic to our bodies? Many cultures around
the world have practiced internal cleansing for centuries. Fortunately, this
practice is finally gaining acceptance in America.
Bookstore shelves are now full of books about detoxification (internal
cleansing) and its health benefits. This newfound zeal for detoxification is
easy to understand. Our drinking water is full of chemicals, the air we breathe
is polluted, and our food is replete with pesticides and herbicides. All of
these manmade toxins have one common resting place, our bodies! If you were in a
chemistry laboratory and someone threatened to dump thousands of chemicals into
a single test tube, you would probably run for your life and for good reason.
Water Under the Bridge
According to the Kellogg Report,
dramatic industrial growth in America has introduced a variety of new,
chemically complex and sometimes lethal pollutants into our water systems.
Contrary to popular opinion, municipal treatment plants are not equipped to
detect, much less detoxify our water of most harmful chemical pollutants.
Food for Thought
It is estimated that each year close
to 1.2 billion pounds of pesticides and herbicides are sprayed on food American
crops. Pesticides can enter the body through contact with the skin or by
inhaling or ingesting the chemicals. In 1972, the pesticide DDT was banned due
to its catastrophic effect on wildlife. Unfortunately, DDT is not readily broken
down. As a matter of fact, resides of DDT can be found in the bodies of nearly
all Americans to this day! Many pesticides in the same class as DDT are stored
in our fatty tissues and some have been linked to cancer and birth defects.
Indoor Pollution
Our indoor air quality is far more
toxic than most people realize. Volatile organic compounds (VOC's) include
various chemicals which may have both short- and long-term adverse health
consequences. The concentrations of many VOC's is up to 10 times higher indoors
than outdoors. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA),
VOC's are emitted by literally thousands of products, including such common
products as building materials, cleaning supplies, pesticides, copiers,
printers, and craft materials.
Common household products are full of
organic chemicals. Cleaning and disinfecting solutions, waxes, and even
cosmetics contain these potentially harmful chemicals and their gases can be
emitted into your home even when they are not in use! Exposure to VOC's is known
to cause many symptoms, such as dizziness, fatigue, and headache and is believed
to be associated with cancer as well.
New carpet, furniture, and paint can
release formaldehyde into the air. Formaldehyde is classified as a known
carcinogen (cancer causing agent) by the American Cancer Society.
Many experts believe that indoor
exposures to various toxins account for the results of a 15 year Oregon study
which found that women who stay at home experience a 54% higher death rate from
cancer than women who work outside of the home.
Why Cleanse?
The overwhelming number of toxic
house hold chemicals that bombard us on a daily basis can overwhelm our bodies
detoxification mechanisms. Over time, toxins can accumulate and cause symptoms
such as memory problems, depression, anxiety, neurological diseases like
Parkinson's Disease, and perhaps various cancers.
Many people are so toxic that their
bodies must produce extra fat cells to coat the excess toxins to protect them
from their harmful effects. Therefore, many people experience significant weight
loss, as well as better health and well-being, after undertaking a
detoxification regimen.
There are many internal cleansing
products on the market. In addition to doing your due diligence, check with your
physician before starting any regimen. Unfortunately, most medical schools do
not teach physicians much about nutrition or alternative medicine practices.
Consequently, many are inclined to so-so practices such as cleansing in the
absence of a randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial. Until I lost 7
pounds after just 6 days of cleansing and saw dramatic changes in my skin, I too
was among the unbelievers. Nevertheless, remember to do your research, know your
body, and consult your physician regarding detoxification.
